FAQs
Q: Can anyone sign up for a Digital Patron Card, regardless of where they live?
A: No. Digital Patron Cards are only available to those living, attending college or another trade school, or pay taxes in the Seneca Library District. In Pennsylvania, residents of Cameron, Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren counties may sign up for a Digital Patron Card. AccessPA or residents outside Pennsylvania do not qualify for a digital card.
Q: Can I use my Digital Patron Card to check out physical items in the library?
A: It depends. Your card will be checked in our system to see if a card already exists or if you reside in the service area of a physical library.
Q: Can I use my Digital Patron Card to place holds for “real” books, music and movies to pick up at a Seneca District Member Library?
A: It depends. Please email us for more information.
Q: Do I have a home library?
A: Check out the List of Member Libraries and Municipal Areas for more information.
